Antique Barley Twist Drop Leaf Table

A beautiful English antique oak drop-leaf table featuring wonderfully sculptural barley-twist legs and a versatile gateleg design.

The table has two hinged drop leaves that allow it to transform from a remarkably narrow console into a substantially larger tabletop. When closed, it measures only approximately 13 inches deep, making it especially useful in an entryway, hallway, small dining area or anywhere space is limited.

When opened, the tabletop expands to approximately 28.5" × 30".

The richly grained oak top is supported by an architectural base with multiple barley-twist legs, stretcher supports and turned feet. The combination of warm wood, traditional craftsmanship and compact proportions gives this piece wonderful English-country character.

Style it closed beneath artwork in an entryway, use it as an occasional or side table, or open the leaves when additional surface space is needed. Table would make a perfect kitchen table or breakfast table and save on space when needed.
