Vintage Bavarian Rose Serving Bowl
Vintage Bavarian Rose Serving Bowl
One-of-a-kind · Flat-rate U.S. delivery · All sales final
A vintage Bavarian porcelain serving bowl covered in pink roses — an all-over rose pattern with gilt accents, finished with a gently scalloped rim.
The base is marked Z.S. & Co, Bavaria — the mark of Zeh, Scherzer & Co of Rehau, Germany, a maker known for exactly this kind of romantic rose porcelain. At roughly 9 to 10 inches across, it's sized for serving, but it's just as happy holding fruit on a counter or corralling pretties on a dresser.
Condition:
Good vintage condition, with light age-appropriate wear to the gilt, as shown.
Why We Love It
All-over roses, a scalloped edge, and a proper maker's mark — cottage romance with real serving manners.
