Vintage Florentine Plaque
Vintage Florentine Plaque
One-of-a-kind · Flat-rate U.S. delivery · All sales final
A vintage Italian Florentine wall plaque — a lush floral still life in the Old Master manner, set in a rectangular giltwood frame with the antiqued cream-and-gold Florentine finish.
The original paper label survives on the back: “Exclusively Ours — Made in Italy,” from Imports Unlimited, Style No. 1/2C. It explains that the uneven finishes and blemishes are not imperfections — they are purposely made by Italian artisans and are authentic characteristics of Antiqued Florentine Plaques.
Condition:
Good vintage condition, with the intentional antiqued finish and age-appropriate wear to the giltwood, as shown. Original maker's label retained on the back; hanging loop fitted.
Why We Love It
