Antique Jacobean Revival Dining Table

A beautifully crafted early 20th-century oak dining table featuring hand-carved Jacobean Revival detailing and a solid plank top with a classic center seam indicating its original draw-leaf design. Pieces like this have become highly sought after today for their rich patina and timeless English farmhouse character. Please note that we do not believe the leafs extend but are unsure at this time if they are hidden in the piece. It may have originally had a leaf that was lost with time.

The sculptural carved legs and geometric apron detailing reflect the craftsmanship typical of the 1920s Jacobean Revival period, when furniture makers drew inspiration from 17th-century English refectory tables.

The warm aged oak finish and dramatic grain give this piece a grounded, architectural presence that works beautifully in both traditional and modern interiors.

Today, these tables are often styled as:

• farmhouse dining tables
• kitchen islands
• studio work tables
• entry statement pieces

It pairs especially well with Windsor chairs, rush seating, linen textiles, and antique brass accents.

This piece has wonderful age and character with a beautifully worn patina that only comes from decades of use.
