Large Chinese Porcelain Jardiniere

Large Chinese Porcelain Jardiniere with Ornate Cast Metal Mounts

An absolutely spectacular statement piece.

This substantial Chinese porcelain jardiniere features a beautiful coral-red ground decorated with delicate flowering branches, blossoms and foliage in soft shades of pink, cream, blue and green.

The porcelain vessel is surrounded by elaborate cast-metal mounts, including a richly detailed rim, ornate footed base and dramatic scrolling handles that rise above either side of the vessel. The combination gives it the grand appearance of traditional European-mounted Chinese porcelain.

At approximately 16.5 inches wide x 16 inches high, this is a large and impressive decorative piece with wonderful presence.

Perfect displayed on a console, pedestal, entry table, sideboard or dining room buffet. It would also make a gorgeous decorative cachepot for a faux orchid, topiary, fern or other arrangement.

A beautiful addition to a chinoiserie, Grandmillennial, traditional, Hollywood Regency, Palm Beach, maximalist or collected interior.
