Victorian Giltwood Wall Shelves (Pair)

A refined pair of authentic Victorian carved giltwood wall bracket shelves, dating to the late 19th century, richly ornamented with classical acanthus and foliate detailing.

Hand-carved in solid wood and finished in a warm, time-softened gold leaf, these brackets were originally designed to display sculpture, busts, or devotional objects. Their sculptural presence and architectural scale make them equally striking as standalone wall accents or functional display shelves.

The gilt surface shows beautiful age-appropriate wear, revealing the depth and character only time can create — a look impossible to replicate in modern reproductions.

Perfect for:
• An Italian villa–inspired interior
• A Parisian apartment or English manor aesthetic
• Displaying porcelain, bronze, or plaster objects
• Adding old-world elegance to an entry, dining room, or library
