The velvet on the back could stay original as it is in very good condition with no callouts to note. We have priced her accordingly lower to account for reupholstery by the buyer. The first photo on this listing is just how it would look after reupholstery for reference.

The back fabric is in very good condition and the top right of the crested arch that you lay on is in good condition with one bare small barespot on the velvet; the main seat would be best to be reupholstered. One other callout is that it is missing one button in the center that could be easily replaced with reupholstery.
