Vintage Blue and White Pillow Box
Vintage Blue and White Pillow Box
One-of-a-kind · Flat-rate U.S. delivery · All sales final
A small porcelain box in the shape of a cushion — the classic Chinese porcelain-pillow form, shrunk to trinket-box scale. It's transfer-printed in underglaze blue with a village landscape scene, in the Chinese export style.
The lid lifts off to reveal a tidy little interior, just right for rings, pins, or whatever small treasure needs a home. The base is unmarked. Blue and white, chinoiserie, and that wonderful puffed pillow silhouette — it layers into a stack of books or a dresser vignette beautifully.
Condition:
Good vintage condition, as shown in the photos.
